Webs themes mosaic

Today we are delighted to announce a project that our design and product teams have been hard at work on for the last few months – a new collection of website themes! Today on the Webs theme browser you can search, browse, and filter over 450 new premium themes, many with several color variations available.

Why add hundreds of new themes?

You asked for it, you got it.
One of the bits of feedback we hear most often from users is that they want more design choices. Whether you run a small business like many Webs customers, or maintain a personal blog, you want your website to be one of a kind. We hear that, and want to do everything we can to support that objective. Just like our original website templates, these new themes are all highly customizable, allowing site owners to choose their own fonts, colors, background images, and more.

Lack of time shouldn’t keep you offline.
Small business owners need websites more than anybody, but they’re also the ones with the least time to create them. It’s easy to get bogged down in the details and choices when you’re building a site from the ground up. That’s why we built our new premium theme collection with specific businesses in mind, and made it easy to find the ones that appeal to each industry. This allows users to quickly locate an appropriate theme, populate it with their personalized content, customize it to their needs, and go live right away.

More choices mean more growth.
As a small business evolves, so does its brand. And one of your most important brand assets is your website. Your web presence should reflect your colors, fonts, imagery, and overall brand feeling as closely as possible, and we hope our new theme collection makes that even easier to accomplish. And since branding tends to change over time, we made it easy to switch back and forth between website themes without having to redesign your site!

The world has gone mobile.
Regardless of the type of website you have, many of your clients, readers, fans, and shoppers will view it on a mobile device. It’s important that they have the same great experience as your desktop visitors, not only so that your message gets across clearly, but also so your site it perceived as modern and up-to-date. That’s why all of the themes we are introducing today are mobile optimized.

Our new premium design themes are available today for current and new Webs customers – check them out for yourself!

Can we take a step back and address the elephant in the room with the huge unattractive footer on the bottom of all of the free websites? How Extremely Classy

I’m just curious, is this only for paying website owners? Those of us with free websites would like more themes and backgrounds customizations, too. That’s along with having a functioning website without constant glitches.

        Hi Bill,
We are still offering the dozens of themes that were available for free to all users.

I agree with you. There should be better themes for free users. Even the premium themes look a bit outdated.

I would SO like to be able to contact my followers via blog posts too, just as you are doing here. Unfortunately my blog is broken. Has been for two weeks. I’m a premium customer and as such expect my site to be fully functional 100 percent of the time. One hopes those talented technical people are working to solve your clients problems as diligently as they’re working to solve yours. I’m very tired of the time it’s taking. I’m also very tired of not being kept informed of any progress they’re making. It’s an apps problem and I’m not the only one experiencing it. You really are letting your clients down.

I completely agree with you post. I’ve been personally having the same problems. Here we are paying for a website that doesn’t work.

I am really hoping that one day I will be able to post video to my site again. I haven’t been able to upload video to my site for two years. Tried switching over to the new version of webs because I was told this would fix my problem, it didn’t and created other problems so I went back to the old version. I am a premium user and pay to use your services, would love to hear that all this has been fixed in your new version before I try making the switch again. It seems from the comments and blogs on your site that I am not alone in these thoughts.
