It’s a chilly, gloomy Wednesday here in Silver Spring, Maryland, so we’re happy to feature an example site full of beautiful photos of tropical fruits!

Today’s example site, Wilstra Foods, was actually built as part of a recent contest among members of the Webs support team. The challenge was to build a great site using Webs’ SiteBuilder3 platform and using the features to the maximum. And we think today’s website does just that! Which is probably why Damion was the contest winner…

Let’s start with the homepage. The site itself is nicely branded with a large logo and colorful background. The navigation is clear and well organized, and it’s easy to find right at the top of the page. Damion did a great job using imagery to grab visitors’ attention right off the bat. There is also a large tagline that let’s people know they’ve come to the right place right away.

The lower part of the site is organized on a grid using one of SiteBuilder’s many layouts, with buttons that lead you to the appropriate sections for more details.

Damion also included an email subscription module that can be dragged and dropped in the builder.

The homepage also takes advantage of the easy social sharing links that direct visitors to connect with your business on your various social profiles.

Another great SiteBuilder3 feature that was used is the ecommerce section or web store. This feature allows business owners to easily set up inventory, include photos, descriptions and prices, and encourage purchases with professional buttons.

On the Health Facts page, Damion has taken advantage of the image gallery module to showcase images of the beautiful fruits available on the site. Image galleries are a powerful tool, and they can be customized in SiteBuilder3 in lots of ways. Another nice detail on this page is the use of decorative page dividers between each fruit description. These are a good way to break up large areas of content and can be dropped in from the builder.

Finally on the Contact Us page, Damion has included another contact form module through which visitors can ask questions and also provide their contact details. This page also showcased the maps and directions functionality, as well as the option for site owners to offer “members only” areas or content

Great job on your Webs SiteBuilder3 website Damien, and congratulations on your big win!

My partner and I absolutely love your blog and find many
of your post’s to be what precisely I’m looking for. Do you offer guest writers to write
content for you? I wouldn’t mind publishing a post or elaborating on a lot of the subjects you write in relation to here. Again, awesome website!
