For the rest of the month of February here on the Webs blog, we’re going to be talking about Search Engine Optimization, and how it can make all the difference in the success of your small business website. But, being that today is the day after the Super Bowl, we’re aware that your small business marketing mojo might not be at 100%.

So how can you feel like a good marketer and still keep the celebration (or wound-licking) going? A Super Bowl ad roundup, of course. Luckily, Mashable has put together a handy slideshow with the big ads from the big game all in one place.

While you watch these 73 high-dollar marketing moments, look for trends, themes, and see if you can find some inspiration for your own branding and marketing activities. One big theme we noticed this year was animals — from Budweiser to Old Spice to Sketchers, it seemed like furry friends were the star of the show for many big brands.

Do you see any common threads, or strategies you’d like to use in your own marketing? How about approaches you’ll make sure to avoid? Put your hands through those Snuggie sleeves and tell us about it in the comments below.
