The Webs Family

As we mentioned in last week’s blog post, the three founders of Webs are also brothers. In a way, Webs is like one big family. The employees are the supportive parents. The customers are the kids, full of dreams and potential. And the developers are the aunts and uncles who bring the kids gifts (like Pagemodo).

Find out more about the Webs family in the three video clips below.

  1. Who is the classic Webs customer? Zeki, Haroon, and Idris Mokhtarzada, the co-founders of Webs, discuss the personas and real-life people they call to mind when thinking about Webs customers
  2. What is the office environment like at Webs? Peek behind the curtain:
  3. Thomas Kjeldgaard and Jakob Pedersen, founders of Pagemodo, tell us how they feel about joining the Webs family:

    Hi Webs team –
I heard about you just a few months or so ago from a client who came to one of our “Create Your Own Website – For Free!” classes and I finally took a look at your product to see if this was something I wanted to add to my list of products small business owners should use. I’m interested to know if you have Pros that are for hire to help businesses create their websites or available to teach. I’d like to hire someone who lives in the Chicago area to teach small business owners how to use the BASIC, free product. A lot of small business owners don’t understand technology, don’t embrace it, and wouldn’t want to spend money (even if they had it) on something they cannot yet see the value of. My goal is to help them see the value without having to put up any money up front. They need to get their feet wet first learning what a website is, who it targets, why it benefits even that one-person business, and how they can use a website to market, promote, and generate revenue. I particularly like that your site offers 5 items for sale for free. This would be perfect for some small business owners to explore the whole e-commerce area. Anyway – I’m accepting proposals for qualified individuals to come teach them things just like this. Class sizes are very small – three to six people usually and maximum size is about 15 to 20 for our facility, but larger groups can be accommodated with advance notice.

Webs Pros must be Chicago-based and must teach Create Your Own E-Commerce Website For Free! They can, of course, talk about other upgrades, but that will not be the focus of the training that we would pay for. I can send an RFP if you have such professionals on hand – I’m sure you must as your company is ten years old so there must be experts out there somewhere. I have also sent an RFP to and already gotten several responses.

    Thank you.
