Introducing Pagemodo’s New DIY Facebook Page Builder

Today we are excited to announce the addition of Pagemodo to the Webs family of products.  Pagemodo joins the Webs website-building solution you know and love and ContactMe, a lightweight CRM tool, to form a suite of online tools for small business growth.

Pagemodo’s Pagebuilder is an online tool that enables small businesses to design their own custom Facebook pages for free and with ease.

Try the Pagemodo Pagebuilder Today!

Why Pagemodo?

Small businesses are increasingly turning to Facebook as a new marketing channel for attracting customers and promoting their businesses. Thanks to Pagemodo’s Pagebuilder, entrepreneurs don’t need to have any technical or design skills to add tabs–such as a “Welcome” tab–to their Facebook fan pages.

The result is a Facebook fan page that is fresh, stylish, and informative. If you compare a Pagemodo Facebook page to a non-Pagemodo Facebook page, it’s like looking at the difference between a professionally-produced TV commercial and local business’s homemade commercial…but in this case, you get to make the glossy, impressive version in a matter of minutes, and for free!

What can Pagemodo Facebook Pagebuilder offer you?
  • Ease of use. No worries about studying how Facebook works nor any new codes. You don’t need any technical skills to create a Facebook page easily, quickly, and by yourself. That’s because the Pagebuilder’s templates do the work; you simple add your content.
  • Wide range of options. The Pagemodo Pagebuilder offers templates in a range of styles, from striking (one large image to make a strong statement) to informative (plenty of room to explain your products or services) to rich (a mix photos and video). Yes we said it, Templates!
  • Visibility. To ensure that your page clearly explains what your business is all about, Pagemodo Pagebuilder users can upload pictures (like a company logo), embed videos, change the color palette, modify copy, and more.

Check out some example pages that have been built using Pagemodo:

Try out Pagemodo’s Pagebuilder for yourself and join the 60,000 small businesses that have already signed up!

Okay, I created a tab for my website using Pagemod, but now, how do I choose the Facebook page I want to add my newly created tab to? I have my own profile page and then two group pages I have created. I want to add it to one of the group pages. However, it keeps wanting to install to an apps page that was created to use Facebook Connect on my website. How do I choose where I want the tab to appear? If anyone can help, I would appreciate it. I’ve spent hours trying to figure this out!

Great idea if Pagemodo is working. Unfortunately, I was unable to make a Welcome page as none of the template buttons to add photos or text were working. In the help section, it looks as if this an ongoing problem.

I have been trying PAGEMODO for three days straight and I am getting nowhere. Ease of use? No need to know how facebook code work? Absolutely incorrect. The page cannot be installed, the connection to Facebook is never made, getting answers from the pagebuilder representatives sends you into such loops you get turned around and never get an answer!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not at all helpful!

I agree with the most current comments. Pagemoto was confusing, hard to use and I abandoned the whole idea. So until they get it worked out better, I have far to many other things to work on without messing around with trial items that pose as functioning features. Sorry team, thanks but no thanks.

    Hi every one,
I have a question and i hope someone here can help me with it.
I finnished the pagemodo site and put it on facebook.
I must say that im proud of myself, becouse i am a beginner at the computer,
when it goes to technical but i like my page.
Only one problem, and its a huge one… one can see my facebook profile,
no where in google or in any search engine. so what i do? When no one can
see my facebook, the no one see my pagemodo page.
hope anyone can help me with this.

    Thanks ANNA.

I already have a website, but it flips around and I don’t know what to do… I scribbled something on HTML. But I know if I want a professional website I must know CSS and many other website languages.

Can you help me in the normal design of my website?

@DEB – as I understand it, you cannot create special tabs for personal Profile pages, nor Group pages, but only Pages themselves (i.e. Business Pages, Fan Pages, etc).

For example I have a Facebook Group (no tabbing possible):

and I have a Facebook Page (with two tabs):

@ANNA – if you want everyone to see your Facebook Profile then you need to go to your Privacy Settings (top right hand corner, under Account) and change the various options set.
