Spring is only 21 days away here on the East Coast, which can mean only one thing: wedding season approaches!
To get into the spirit, we thought we would browse some of our amazing Webs user sites and feature a few services that are devoted to making your wedding occasion a special one.
But first, let us remind you what makes any website a great website:
We surveyed the inside experts here at Webs – from the people who make our tools to those who help users make the most of them – and found that 64% of respondents have not purchased something from a website due to its design or its content.
Therefore, we found that the three most important factors to include when building your site are:
– Ease of use and clear navigation
– Good layout with attractive visuals
– Well-written, understandable content
So without further ado, let’s take a look at the wedding industry Webs sites that passed this test:
1. Lavishly Posh Weddings & Parties: A Wedding Planner Website
Some people find that planning a wedding can be quite overwhelming, and seek out help from a professional to keep their event organized.
When you first hit the homepage of Lavishly Posh, you are greeted by navigation that assures you that you are on the right site for exceptional wedding planner services. From galleries to the range of services, and even to your own event’s management, the clear navigational menu points visitors in the best direction to start planning their special event.
And if that is not enough, there are plenty of photos placed strategically across the site to prove their weddings are just as lavishly posh as promised.
2. Nicole Phillips Photography: Wedding Photography Website
While a good photographer can be hard to find, it is an essential aspect of a wonderful wedding day.
Nicole Phillips photography’s Webs site proves she understands that importance. Throughout her site she tells a love story through her photography portfolio of weddings she has done in the past. She shares them through her blog, testimonials, and a beautiful photo gallery on every page.
The most unique part of the site?
She includes an FAQ page to help users answer questions on their own, without having to use the contact information found in the footer!
3. Kerrie Langfield Wedding Hair & Make-up: Wedding Stylist Website
Finally, every person wants to feel lovely on their wedding day, down to their hair and their make-up.
In just a four-page site navigation, she shares all the information you need; what she does, who she is, photos to demonstrate her skills, and how to get in contact with her.
She even provides links to her social media sites to further build the relationship with any visitor who is interested in using her wedding services.
Not to mention, her contact page is a simple form that allows users to fill out their name and email address to ask Langfield any questions they may have about her services!
Which website do you think best represented the qualities of a great website we outlined above?
