Happy Wednesday folks! We’re halfway through the week and that means it’s time for another great example site from a stand-out Webs user.
This week we’re taking a look at the website for RSM Montessori School in southern California. Usually we’ll pick out one thing that a site is doing well and discuss that. However the main feature of today’s site that stands out is how comprehensive it is. The site’s owner is clearly engaged and is using many of the tools available through Webs’ SiteBuilder to create a great experience for visitors.
Using Images
This site uses both still images and image carousels to create a sense of the school for visitors. This is a great technique for establishing your brand and creating an emotional connection with your visitors.
A Thorough ‘About’ Section
What some sites limit to a one-page introduction, RSM has expanded into a description, their tuition schedule, an info request form, a tour through their classrooms, and a collection of their newsletters.
Full Disclosure
In a day and age when people seem to avoid picking up the phone at all costs, providing commonly sought information openly on your website is a good practice to consider. Obviously you don’t want to give away proprietary information to just anybody, but provide everything you can to answer your visitors possible questions upfront. Including extras like their curriculum and even daily menu is a great way for RSM to engage visitors who are considering their school.
…And More!
Other tools and apps that RSM Montessori is taking advantage of include a calendar, map and directions, a contact form, and a blog called “Teachers’ Corner”.
Keep up the good work RSM Montessori!
