If you have ever wanted to add a rotating slideshow of images along the top of your website, now you can! It’s easier than ever to add an image carousel using Webs new SiteBuilder3.
How to Get Started:
- Click on the “Page Settings” menu and select “Change Page Layout” option.
- Select a page layout that supports “The Carousel” banner and click “Save Layout”. You can choose from 3 layout types that support the carousel slideshow. They are: “Banner”, “Banner/Left Sidebar” and “Banner/Right Sidebar”.
- Once you selected your page layout, an empty carousel will appear in the banner area of your page layout with an option to “Double Click” to start editing it.
Adding images to the carousel slideshow is as simple as double-clicking and selecting imagery from uploaded images, free images available via Flickr, or uploading new once. If you are not sure how to add images, please review the following article on how to add images to your website using SiteBuilder3.
Carousel Options
It is important to note that your carousel slideshow will come with a toolbar displayed along the bottom that controls how the carousel looks and plays. Going from left to right:

I know this if off topic but I’m looking into starting my own blog and was curious what all is required to get set up? I’m assuming having a blog like yours
would cost a pretty penny? I’m not very web savvy so I’m not
100% sure. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated. Appreciate it

It would really be helpful if we could make the image a clickable html link. I imagine you get a lot of ghost clicks from people trying to access a page from the image itself.

hi thank you for your tips.. but i have a few questions in my my that i wanna ask you.. is there a possibility that i can insert that carousel on a specific static page? thanks!! kudos

Agree — PLEASE let us link the whole picture in the carousel! Since it’s been over 2 years, I’m assuming it’s an improvement that may never come. I’ve added page links within the captions, but it would be so great to have the picture itself linked.
Also, I’d like to be able to resize my pictures to take up less prime space on my homepage AND move the title/caption box to different corners of the pictures.

We don’t currently have the ability to link the carousel pictures, but your feedback has been noted! As for the sizing, you should be able to make the carousel image shorter or taller by moving the drag handle at the bottom of the picture. The width will not change though since carousels are fixed and vary only by theme.
