I started my own business because I was fired. And it was the best thing I could have done for myself.
It’s surprising how many small business owners have other work and our only supplementing their income with their own business. Also surprising that only 20% of small business owners laid off workers.

I made a website pursuing my hobby and it does not look like its going to generate any revenue. Looks like a stupid decision because I am paying to advertise it. Would like to know jess what business you started?

@Farah: Looks like you are just starting out with your website. Try adding more content to describe your services, put up images of your dance academy and some testimonials from your existing customers/students.
