Last month we celebrated the 10th anniversary of Webs and it was a blast. What you probably didn’t know however, is that this week we are celebrating another anniversary…the 1 year anniversary of Example Site Wednesday! That’s right; we started this feature a year ago so that everybody could see the awesome and beautiful sites that our members are creating. To celebrate and to thank all of our blog readers, this week we will be featuring two websites from some of our most loyal blog readers & are having a Sizzling Summer SALE!
First up, we have a social network that was created using Webs. Buddy Web is a unique networking site that lets people interact with each other, as well as interesting content from around the web. The website has a super simple design and a clean feel that makes it really welcoming and entices people to use it.
Next up is FriendUs, another social networking site that uses a bunch of Webs features to operate. They use forums, videos, and photo apps to create interactive environments for their users. In design and feel, FriendUs and Buddy Web are very similar, and given the success of their sites, you know there has to be something to the whole clean and simple design thing.
