In addition to the Small Business week, today Webs is honoring National Police Week, by showcasing a website run by two men in blue. 2 Hungry Cops is the brain child of two retired police officers who are dedicated to finding the best places for cops to eat (beyond donuts). This fun website features videos of them traveling around and tasting “top cop eating spots”. Take a look around for yourself:
2 Hungry Cops is a wonderfully crafted site with a lot of personality. The site features a bunch of Webs features that help it run including:
- Video Gallery to showcase their services and provide value to their website
- About Us page to let site visitors learn more about the creators of the site and the services they provide
- Contact page is a must have for any website so that visitors can get in touch with questions or problems they might have
Some may say that this is a very simple website, but there is more to a great website than flashy design. The main feature of 2 Hungry Cops are the amazing videos that they make of their eating experiences. The website, however, does a great job of adding value and depth to these videos, giving visitors a place to watch them all, giving more of a background story to the videos, and most importantly, providing a mode of communications for fans to talk to them.
Building websites is not everybody’s forte (that’s why Webs is here), but it can help add value to your business, hobby, or interests. Think about how you can use your website to add value to what you offer, and use that to make your site even better!
