We think the Webs Site Builder is fantastic. It’s easy to use. It’s intuitive. It’s powerful. But it’s always nice to get validation from an outside source, such as from the Interactive Media Awards (IMA).

On April 4, 2011, IMA awarded the Webs.com Site Builder with Outstanding Achievement for excellence in design, development, and implementation.

IMA judges considered the Site Builder’s design, usability, technical innovation, standards compliance, and content, and determined that the Site Builder is “pretty and smells nice.” No, wait, that was my own assessment. IMA said that the Webs Site Builder “surpassed the standards of excellence that comprise the web’s most professional work.”

We see this award as further validation that Webs can effectively and efficiently develop powerful and appealing websites for our valuable clients (you!).

But Webs wasn’t the only winner. Pagemodo, the free Facebook page building service within the Webs family of products, won Outstanding Achievement for social networking.

Pagemodo’s website was judged on design, content, feature functionality, usability, and standards compliance. The IMA judges concluded that “Your website has excelled in all areas of our judging criteria and represents a very high standard of planning, execution and overall professionalism.” “Your website also reminded us that we need to update our Facebook page” they added (just kidding!).

It’s an honor to have our work recognized by the IMA. We feel strongly that our tools are world-class examples of how the Internet can be used to enhance a company’s message and branding. These accolades are proof.
