Example Site Wednesday: In Style Boutique

Another Wednesday can only mean one thing: a new example site. This week, we bring you In Style Boutique, a simple yet elegant website created for a boutique that offers unique fashions for stylish women.

‘In Style Boutique’ uses their website to promote their physical store. You may think that their website is too simple and does not accomplish much. If you take a closer look, you can see that they do a great job providing the essential information almost every website needs:

  • About Us section
  • Contact Form
  • Updates of their Inventory

(Need a more detailed list? Check-out Checklist for your business website)

‘In Style Boutique’ also makes great use of our Location app to highlight their store location.  Remember, if you have a business phone number and a mailing address that you operate your business from, don’t hide it. Physical address is vital for promotional purposes to bring more clients through your front doors.

Want to make your location even easier to find? Make sure your business is registered on Google Places.  It’s a free service provided by Google that helps to make sure people can find your business on Google, helps you stand out to customers and make smarter business decisions.

That’s all for this week. If you think your site has what it takes to be an example site, leave a comment below. Check back next week to see if it’s you!

Another great site! I like the “Contact Us” form. Is that an app that we can all use? I made my own page for my contact information.

I’d be soooooooooooooooooooooo happy if you featured my site next week!!!

My website helps teach parents and students how to win college scholarship money. Please feel free to check it out and let me know what you think. I’d love some feedback. 🙂

@Monica: The Contact Us form is actually a page type that we currently provide. You can add it by going to adding a new page to your websites and selecting “Web Form”.

This site is nice! Simple yet filled.

I have used WEBS to create my bartender for hire site and wish to be viewed on this next week, or an upcoming one.

    Any feedback welcomed.

Please consider my genealogy website next week! I’ve been working hard to make it better and better. There are still a few areas under construction. My biggest addition is my blog. Please check it out – I have a wealth of information for my members.

    yur right
it is simple clean and has all the relevant info on it.
My only comment would be – why become a member? news updates? info on new clothes? what is the purpose of being a member?

That is the only thing I see really missing here.

The about us could be slightly more elaborated on just as it looks odd being so short but the basics are definitly there.

And being from Kuwait can they take advantage of multi-language web options??
    Would it even benifit them.

In one of your blog posts you mentioned key words to draw in search queries. This site would probably get some more traffic with a little more writting in there to spruce it up and add more of the search engine words.

    IMO.

Really very nice. Liked it very much. Integrated with GoogleMaps API. Good example to learn the idea of building web-site.

Unfortunately telling very bad selection . Its in our opinion not a example site. There is no log/ favicon which is essential for a business. Layout of website very dull.Concept may be good, but it does not set an example to show up to the world.

@WaveRush: Example sites aren’t chosen based on their account status, but rather based on their design and what they provide their visitors.

Interesting sites that get chosen, some useful ideas to be seen here.

My most recent site has become a 40 plus page monster as a local community service project for our Sports Association. If only I’d known what i was starting…..

Aspiring Litigators of America (ALA) is an association exclusively designed for scholars throughout the nation who are interested in pursuing careers in the legal field. The association will have weekly meetings with its most active members in our expected headquarters located at Lehigh Valley Academy in Bethlehem, PA. During these weekly meetings, members will learn about the different fields of law, discuss current legal news and topics, create and participate in mock trials, research past cases in our nation’s history and decide if the rulings and convictions set forth by the court were unconstitutional, and possibly have an opportunity to meet local attorneys and ask them questions about their occupation or just about law in general.

I think its a great site, I am trying to change mine to look more professional and this has inspired me to try a different template so have marked mine ‘excuse the virtual fairy dust’ and going to work on it. I am yet to put a cart on it as its not big enough to pay out loads but have ‘widgets’ so people can pay by paypal! not ideal but works ok combined with my facebook group.
I think with this one.. perhaps give an option to buy online, otherwise to me living in the UK its a pretty useless site to look at. Not putting it down as I really liked it! but not much point to me.
I have gone on a bit! but would really appreciate some feedback and help/guidance with mine. Its confusing when you are not that ‘web design’ literate. If I knew what was what I could be very successful 🙂

It supports my fans by having feedback on my current projects, drawings in-album, and even advice on my video-like series. It’s complicated, but I’ll try my best to make it right for the team. And even though I’m still working on it, I feel greatly confident on my progress. I will not give up on Webs.
