Example Site Wednesday: KGN LEATHER

This week’s example site makes us dream that we had a motorcycle to go with the hip jackets KGN LEATHER sell.

The website sports an awesome design, as well as a simple layout. We are big fans of sites with easy navigation and uncluttered, thoughtful layouts. ‘KGN LEATHER’ uses several Webs’ applications to make the site engaging without sacrificing clarity very well:

  • Testimonials App to share great experiences from past customers
  • Web Store to easily display and sell products
  • Members to let loyal customers join the site and receive updates about upcoming deals

In addition to brilliantly utilizing Webs Apps, ‘KGN LEATHER’ also makes the most of the powerful social networking features. KGN uses Facebook Fan Page and Twitter widgets to add content to their web pages and drive brand awareness.

Why you should use social media to promote your website?

1.    Cheap! Let’s face it, using Facebook and Twitter can be a low-cost/high returns method of promoting your website.
2.    Additional Brand Exposure. Your potential customers/fans are everywhere, so why limit them only to one spot? Creating various venues that all tie into your website is an easy way to make yourself available for those who are searching for your services and to provide additional exposure for your website.
3.    Build Relationships. Building positive relationships related to your business or personal hobby can help your website grow further. So get out there! Meet like-minded peers, engage with potential customers and display your personality. (Safely of course).

That’s it for this week. Don’t forget to leave a comment below for your chance to be a part of Example Site Wednesday! This is where I would make a leather jacket joke, but they are just too cool to be made fun of…Until next time!

Aspiring Litigators of America (ALA) is an association exclusively designed for scholars throughout the nation who are interested in pursuing careers in the legal field. The association will have weekly meetings with its most active members in our expected headquarters located at Lehigh Valley Academy in Bethlehem, PA. During these weekly meetings, members will learn about the different fields of law, discuss current legal news and topics, create and participate in mock trials, research past cases in our nation’s history and decide if the rulings and convictions set forth by the court were unconstitutional, and possibly have an opportunity to meet local attorneys and ask them questions about their occupation or just about law in general.
The ALA’s website surpasses the expected qualifications that must be met to be featured, by all means and indefinitely possesses the degree of quality a website needs in order to be featured. The ALA displays a wide variety of different pages including: Home, About Us, Spread the Word, Chapters, Members, Upcoming Events, Photos, Links, and a Buzzworthy App for Legal News/Topics. The ALA would greatly appreciate being featured in next week’s edition of Example Site Wednesdays.

Pick me! Pick me! Pick me! Please consider my website. It is still a work in progress as I have much more content to add for my genealogy friends. So, you will see some “under construction” signs, but the bulk of the site is up and running. I have kept a very simple format for my users.

thank you for adding my site.

To be honest we can build much more better sites from Webs.com website building toolbar. It is simple toolbar but it can deliver fantastic output in the site building.
The most interesting thing i found in the site building is the sidebar which can be customised with html. Not to forget that i sold alot of leather jackets from the site just because of webs.com participation with paypal.

The enchanced package of webs.com is definately a worthy buy.

    Webs.com is a great site….keep it up.

This is a cool website. Some of my family have motorcycles, but their leather jackets aren’t as cool as these are.

All though I have not used ,or do not use alot of the newwer stuff avaiable to
enhance a site, I liked reading your artical, and agree on many things, especially
about have to much , “bells and whistles”, when I go to a site, if there are lots
of things flashing and binking, and to many options, or real “cluttered” screen,
I just close it and look some where else,…this is my first time looking at webs
blogs,…guess that is about it,…my site certainly is not an examle of the “best”,
but I ( in my opinion) have seen lots, useing lots of “modern” techniques…that
are worse, simply because it was impossible to move around, or make sense of any
of the content….but What I like is not the same as what lots of people like.
All though I would not mind a little more publicity, at the same time when a site
becomes very popular, It also becomes a prime target for the spammers and malicious idiots, However thankfuly there are ways to protect from that, and regular site maintenence is important.
    Thank you

    Nice site and nice stuff.

But once again it is a site that sells stuff. Webs not all of us use the for sale features that you have. They are great – I agree – but quite irrelevant to a large majority of us who still would love to have some input on promoting and improving our sites that do not sell anything.
You have put a lot of great info up for us to read and learn from and I really appreciate that. I would just personally love to see more a of a balance in the Wednesday example sites from every type of site made out there – not just commerce.

Thanks for all you do though!! I have been a webs customer for almost 6 years now and have never considered switching my site to someone else!!

Sometime Pictures do capture the attention of the customers. but many pictures in the site may also cause for your site to upload slower. that will make also to piss some visitors in your site
