It’s time to announce the winner of our Testimonial contest! Of course, in typical Webs fashion, we thought we would have a little fun with it. To find out if the lucky winner is you, check out the video below. Remember, there’s a free domain name for 1 year at stake!

In case you missed it, here are the rules for determining our winner:

1. First, we narrowed down our favorite entries and put them in a list in random order.

2. Next we pit our new intern, self-professed terrible foosball player David, against office veteran and ‘Table Fúbol’ guru, Dominick.

3. We gave Dominick 3 minutes to score as many goals on David as he could, and that number would correspond with a user on our list. That person will receive a free domain name courtesy of Webs!

To see the results, click on the video above. Remember to keep an eye on the blog for future contests and promotions!

yes, it was biased… Since, let’s say, in 3 minutes it would be more than 1 goal for sure (taking into account pro-player vs… you know…), so the first person on the list had no chance to win. :) it was fun to watch though!

Wow, how professional of you to do that in such a manner. It makes me totally rethink whether I want to be part of this or not??? You picked a winner not by the power of their testimonial but on a foos ball game score that was biased to begin with because the first person would have never won. Amazing. Thinking it is time to find another home for my website because the energy we as web users put into responding to your contest openly and gratefully was decided in a totally non-honorable way. Checking out new options today. Thanks Webs for showing me how poorly you make decisions about your users and their intentions. I should say here that I don’t care about winning the domain name thing, I cared about letting you know how I felt about Webs.com. Really irresponsible Webs.
